How To Obtain A Real Estate License

Prior to applying for a Missouri Real Estate License, applicants must do 5 things:

1.   Complete the 48 hour Pre-Exam Course* (must be completed first).

2.  Complete the 24 hour Missouri Real Estate Practice Course*

3.   Pass both the state and national portions of the Missouri real estate exam, given by AMP.

4.  ****NEW Requirement for anyone seeking a real estate license in the state of Missouri***

    Effective January 1, 2011, all applicants are required to be fingerprinted prior to making application for licensure.  You can make an appointment by contacting L1 Enrollment Services through the preferred method of registering online at www.L1enrollment.com or by calling 1-866-522-7067.  You will need to provide L-1 Enrollment Services with the ORI number of MO920130Z in order to schedule an appointment.  This will authorize the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the FBI to send the results to the Missouri Real Estate Commission.  You will pay a fee of $52.20 directly to L-1 Enrollment Services for this service.  Upon completion, you must attach a receipt from L-1 Enrollment Services substantiating proof of fingerprinting with your application for license.

5.    Affiliate with a Licensed Real Estate Broker
